We took an initiative to encourage & recognize corporates to actively engage into environment friendly preservation activities & projects.

The Earth Care Awards are a pioneering step taken by JSW & The Times of India in response to the increasing need to provide credible and technically-sound leadership to identify and foster actions across several sectors with special reference to mitigation and adaptation imperatives related to climate change and global warming.

This joint initiative between JSW & The Times of India has been fuelled by the incorporation of successful in-house climate change mitigation measures within JSW and the urge to facilitate further action through a mass eco-consciousness movement by engaging the people of the country.
