Climate change is a serious and long term challenge that has the potential to affect each and every one of us. It is one of the biggest issues facing the world today - a global threat no nation can resolve alone.

Today, many organizations across the world are joining hands to raise awareness about climate change and taking remedial action to reduce the impact of human-induced climate change.

We believe a combined and sustained effort by corporates and the media can make a major contribution towards making climate change a national priority.

The JSW-The Times of India Earth Care Awards is one such effort constituted to recognize local and relevant action in tackling challenges posed by climate change. The awards are technically supported by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) & Centre for Environment Education (CEE).
